Must Have:
- Minimum of 5 years sales or business leadership experience in the medical devices sector
- Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Sales, Economics or Marketing (Bachelor’s Degree as a minimum)
- Demonstrated skills and competencies to operate in a sales leadership role
- A proven & successful sales record
- Integrity is paramount. Talking straight and seeking feedback is viewed as critical to success
- Proven business acumen with the ability to negotiate complex contract terms
- Ability to generate financial analyses to a high standard
- An effective presenter with professional presentation and "Presence"
- An expert influencer with a proven ability to negotiate
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to communicates with
- Knowledge of industry trends, developments and market conditions
- Understanding of health care system requirements (outcomes research, cost, etc.)
- Excellent computer literacy including a high level of knowledge MS Office suite of software.
- Have an excellent working knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand Private Health Insurer industry, Private Hospital Buying Groups and individual private hospital mechanisms and KPIs
- An excellent knowledge of the Public Hospital sector, DHHS and State Procuring bodies in Australia/New Zealand
Several jurisdictions across Australia have established mandatory requirements for healthcare workers and others working in health care settings to be vaccinated with at least two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. To be eligible to apply and be considered for this role, Medtronic Australasia requires candidates to meet the conditions of the relevant and current Government directions (including Public Health Orders). The successful candidate will be required to provide evidence of vaccination before an appointment.
