Must haves: Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Nice to haves:
- Experience working with or at MEIC.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline and 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience leading small software development teams.
- Experience working with geographically distributed software teams.
- General understanding of software technology for logging, networking, controls, and user interfaces.
- General understanding of COTS/SOUP implications when using off the shelf operating systems, middleware, and networking protocols.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Understanding of risk management of embedded software ideally using SW FMEA techniques.
- Understanding of multiprocessor medical devices.
- Good C/C++ skills.
- Good understanding of 62304 and regulated will defined SDLC.
- Experience in FDA regulated software delivery.
Working Conditions:
Standard Office setting in South Boston. Some international travel is required.
