Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, Caesarea, Israel
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with at least 4 years of Product design experience.
- Extensive experience with designing highly accurate machined parts.
- Extensive experience with designing mechanisms.
- In-depth knowledge and application of GD&T including tolerance stack-up analysis.
- In-depth experience in CAD tools such as Solid works.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and English.
- Highly organized.
- Strong initiative.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Team player with ability to work on your own.
- Passionate hands on approach.
- Able to effectively work with cross functional teams in a multinational matrix organization.
- Medical instruments or implants design experience – significant advantage.
- Experience with designing tools to withstand medical cleaning and sterilization processes.
- Familiarity with design for reliability and manufacturability approaches.
- Knowledge on Engineering Change management processes and PLM tools such as PTC Windchill.
- Good understanding of medical device standards, guidelines and regulations.
