Regional Director, HSS
Must Have.
· Bachelor’s
degree (e.g. Science, Political Science, Health Sciences)
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of managerial
experience
- Experience in leadership role within medical devices or related
industry
- Experience building and leading high performance teams toward high
impact results and working with decision makers at multiple levels of
healthcare institutions, government authorities and advocacy groups
- Solid knowledge of
the Canadian Health Care System, dynamics and current issues of provincial
government
- Ability to assess,
analyze and condense complex data or situation trends, issues and
opportunities for actions and responses; and deliver complex information
and to engage people behind strategies and decisions;
- Understanding of
policy making process, healthcare stakeholders and institutions
- Strong strategic
selling and negotiating skills
- Demonstrated
ability to function at high level of integrity in people and business
management practices
- Innovative and
creative agent of change

Travel
extensively within assigned region, and other travel mostly within Canada.
·
Attend
business /sales meetings and select international Health Care conferences
- Experience in
leading a new clinical approach to care in a complex system.
