- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
- BA/BS Science, Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration plus relevant experience which includes 5+ years’ experience in a project management position of which 3+ years includes experience in the manufacturing product transfer process highly desirable.
- Experience in engineering analysis including capacity analysis, manpower and resource planning, product costing, cost savings, risk assessments, and project payback evaluation; Microsoft Office (Project, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Six Sigma tools, and Lean Manufacturing concepts.
- Experience in business case development for strategies that involve manufacturing & operations initiatives including product transfers, capacity expansions, manufacturing site closures and consolidations or business acquisitions
- Experience in analysis that define manufacturing/operations project timelines, costs and savings as related to scope of specific initiates
- Intimate working knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting methodologies (cost of production - labor/material/overhead) and GAAP principles
- Experience using financial tools (pro-forma, NPV, etc.) to generate payback metrics to rationalize and influence investment decisions
- Advanced MS Excel skills to model “Monte Carlo” type sensitivity analysis around multi-variable project scenarios to manage risk
- BD&L experience as Operations representative on deal teams for due diligence and/or acquisition integrations to assess target company capabilities and risks.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Strong Computer skills; proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 20%
