Must have.

·   Bachelor’s degree

     Knowledge of the medical device industry

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant sales experience
  • Ability to travel 30-50% of the time
  • Prior experience in collaborating and operating in a matrix structure
  • Strong track record of coaching, and developing direct reports
  • Demonstrated capacity to evolve in an ambiguous market dynamic
  • Passionate and driven. Takes accountability for and consistently delivers decisions, actions and results.
  • Demonstrated Leadership by empowerment
  • Proven ability to intentionally and effectively Communicate
  • Possess a mindset of Critical and Strategic Thinking
  • Thinking systemically from a whole systems perspective to uncover potential opportunities for creating value.
  • Has strong leadership and overall people skills demonstrated by track record of motivating others to drive performance
  • Ability to build and develop high performance and cohesive teams
  • Has advanced skills in strategic thinking, planning and execution. Ability to create new and evolving business models to respond to changing market dynamics
  • Excellent talent management abilities demonstrated by attention to sound people decisions with regard to hiring, developing and promoting talent as well as dealing with poor performers.
  • Advanced analytical skills in assessing customer and market intelligence to gather strategic and critical environmental information.
  • Strong planning, business and financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing key and strategic accounts
  • RFP/tender experience in medical device space

·        Advanced degree

·        Knowledge of Cardiovascular Disease and cardiovascular products is an asset

·        Knowledge of the Medtronic Cardiovascular business model, processes, and markets is an asset

·        Knowledge of the Canadian healthcare market and dynamics is an asset

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience
  • Experience in a Cardiovascular or similar medical device-related field is an asset
  • Experience in Marketing
  • Fluency in both written and verbal English
