Principal Electrical Engineer
MUST HAVE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· B.S.
in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and 7+ years experience or an
advanced degree and 5+ years experience
NICE TO
HAVE
·
Masters or Ph.D. Electrical Engineering.
·
Experience and knowledge of electrical
and electronic devices for the medical industry.
·
Detailed analog and digital design,
test and measurement equipment operation.
·
Able to use and apply technical
principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
·
Experience designing and developing
products in a regulated industry preferred.
·
Working knowledge and experience with
communication interface design such as CAN, Ethernet, RFID
·
Predictive engineering experience using
modeling and simulation tool such as ANSYS, COMSOL
·
Hardware performance capability
analisis using statistical methods Strong problem solving and analytical
skills with the ability to provide solutions to a variety of technical
problems of large scope and complexity.
·
Ability to interact with senior
internal and external personnel on significant technical matters often
requiring coordination between organizations and communication with senior
management.
·
Experience designing and developing
products using DRM (DFSS) methodologies preferred.
·
Ability to work without appreciable
direction while independently determining the approach to problems and solutions.
·
Good written and verbal communication
skills; including technical writing skills and effective use of Microsoft
Office applications.
·
Able to work and communicate
effectively with other engineers, designers, surgeons, marketers and suppliers
to develop products from concept through commercialization in a
cross-functional team.
