SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE OR SKILLS PREFERRED:
• Experience as program director or other managerial position
• Broad knowledge of program management principles, techniques and methodologies
• Familiar with software selection, RFP management, change management and large scale technology deployment
• Self-starter - Plan the programs from start to completion
• Discover ways to enhance efficiency and productivity of procedures and people
• Working knowledge of MS office and program management software
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
• Experience influencing teams across multiple business functions
• Experience managing system implementation vendors on large programs
• Product lifecycle management experience
• Highly organized with financial management experience
OTHER DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• More than 5 years of experience in Program Management
o Complex projects of more than $10M budget
o Full project lifecycle and a minimum of 3 complex projects of more than 2-year duration
o Business case development and measurement
• Medical Device product development experience
• Driving Strategic Alignment
o Proven knowledge of developing and implementing strategic goals
• People Leadership
o Direct supervisory responsibility
o Resource planning experience
o Matrix team management responsibilities
• Negotiation and Facilitation skills
o Proven steering group management skills
• Workshop development and delivery experience
• Continuous Improvement experiences with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
• Advanced level of competency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft Office
• Advanced Degree
o Program Management Qualifications, e.g. Managing Successful Programs (MSP) or equivalent
o Risk Management Qualifications, e.g. Management of Risk (MoR) or equivalent
o PgMP Certification
