Prin Sourcing Engineer

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• Masters in Engineering
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, policies, procedures, and ability to apply to supplier requirements including change management and risk mitigation
• Practical and applied knowledge of statistical techniques Strong experience with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and ability to assist and assure implementation of deliverables throughout the supply base
• Strong knowledge of injection molding operations and project management
• Working knowledge of materials planning and scheduling
• Ability to analyze suppliers, identify gaps, and develop improvement strategies
• Demonstrated ability to manage and complete complex, multiple projects and objectives
• Strong problem solving (A3, DMAIC) and analytical skills and ability to influence individuals and groups
• Ability to foster change and promote/implement improvement
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
• Working knowledge of plastic injection molding
• Ability to present to Senior Leadership in a clear and concise manner
• Expertise with various software packages; Minitab, Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Visio
• Willingness to travel to supplier locations, between 25% and 50%
• Lean Six Sigma (SS) Green Belt.  Black Belt and Lean certifications preferred
• Certified PMP, preferred
