MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)
• Bachelor’s degree
• 4+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of experience with an advanced degree
NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)
• Priority consideration will be given to local applicants
• 4+ years of experience in risk intelligence, threat analysis, business intelligence/analysis, competitive/market intelligence/analysis, crisis management, intelligence community, military, or law enforcement intelligence, GSOC
• Advanced degree and 2+ years of experience in risk intelligence, threat analysis, business intelligence/analysis, competitive/market intelligence/analysis, crisis management, intelligence community, military, or law enforcement intelligence, GSOC
• Advanced degree in a relevant field (such as international relations, regional studies, history, economics, political science)
• Experience as an intelligence analyst with the federal government, or as a private sector security or political risk analyst
• Internationally-focused intelligence work, portfolio, and expertise
• Direct work experience in IT and/or security
• Experience using analytic techniques to develop tailored intelligence products and provide threat or incident notifications
• 3+ years’ experience with security technology including alarm and access control and badging systems, CCTV systems, communication technologies, and/or software programs
• Some experience IT, Information security, cyber, privacy knowledge, security incident management, and electronic forensics with healthcare IT solutions
• Fluency in one or more languages other than English
• Existing relationships with government, law enforcement, and global associations relevant to the position
• Experience using intelligence analysis tools and platforms
• Ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance
• GSOC, Command Center, or Analytical Unit experience
• Proven ability to operate effectively under adverse and stressful conditions with little supervision
• Demonstrated analytical expertise; ability to accurately draw conclusions through synthesizing raw data and information from multiple unrelated sources into a finished comprehensive product
• Superior writing and editing skills in English and understanding of intelligence analysis writing style and the intelligence cycle
• Able to present and defend intelligence positions to a variety of audiences, including security colleagues, business representatives, and executives
• In-depth knowledge of the global political, economic, and security environment; ability to identify international events of importance through multiple methods beyond the top headlines
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks, while maintaining strict deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills; a great degree of emotional intelligence and maturity
• Strong technical abilities; proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as social media
• Experience creating Infographics and using data visualization tools
• Willingness to work on-call, shift, and/or irregular hours
• Light travel 10% (domestic and global)
• Uses good judgment and proven ability to work with highly confidential information
• Meticulous attention to detail, grammar, and style
• Creative thinker, capable of spotting and forecasting emerging trends, threats, and tactics
• Ability to build successful internal and external relationships and networks across cultures and industries
• Demonstrated ability to mine open source information using a variety of technological tools and platforms
