Senior Software Project Engineer (m/w/d) - Munich area (Wessling)

Must haves

· Bachelor or preferably Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
· Already worked in software development teams with the ability to understand software development, software requirements, and work with system level definitions
· Fluent in English – written and spoken. German at least on conversational level
· We are looking for an open and positive personality with great communication skills
· Independent and self-motivated – a self-starter with an autonomous working style
· Skills in strategic thinking, problem solving attitude, good planning and time management
· Ability to work in teams – we are looking for a team-player!

Nice to haves

· Project management experience in a regulated software environment, preferably medical devices
· Good understanding of IEC 62304 and regulated well-defined SDLC
· Understanding of SW Architecture
· Strong C++ 11 skills
· Experience with Matlab/Simulink, Linux, real-time OS (QNX)
· Experience in programming embedded multiprocessor software and network protocols
· Know-how with software development to support data logging, network communication, software installation, and build and continuous integration
· Good understanding of a variety of COTS/SOUP packages implementing network stacks, open source libraries and tools
