Senior Software Design Quality Engineer - Surgical Robotics
Must Have:
Bachelor of Science Degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience.
Nice to Have:
- BS degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, or Equivalent; MS degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science preferred.
- Minimum 5years relevant experience as a Software Engineer or Software Quality Engineer responsible for software development, testing and/or Software Quality Engineering in a regulated industry (FDA, ISO, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral and must be computer literate.
- Experience in developing and manufacturing medical devices in conformance with Quality System Regulations, ISO 14971, ISO 13485 requirements.
- Previous software development experience is Desired.
- ASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE)
- Knowledge and experience in developing and manufacturing medical devices in conformance with Quality System Regulations, 21 CFR 800, 13485, 62304, 14971, and 80002-1 requirements.
Work Environment
Office environment where the employee would be standing and sitting most of the day at a desk or in a conference room for meetings.
Some travel may be required.
