- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical or electronic industry
- Exposure or Experience to high volume, synchronized automated equipment running at rates of 35, 40, 100+ppm's; high precision assembly, Allen Bradley PLC, Servo motion controls, computer machine vision systems, Robotics, complex pneumatics, electrical wiring, mechanical assemblies and sensor
- Knowledgeable & experienced about mechanical, electrical/electronic design, programmable logic controls (PLC) – Allen Bradley, pneumatic systems, motor control, vision systems, and instrumentation.
- Knowledgeable on project management of automation systems development lifecycle.
- Champions a common-sense approach to automation projects.
- Solid Works and/or AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project.
- Six Sigma/Lean certified preferred.
- Knowledgeable and experienced on Design for Excellence (DFX) Principles and risk management methodologies such as PFMEA.
- Effective verbal, non-verbal, visual, and written communication skills.
- Minitab or statistical software experience
- Knowledge of risk-based computer system validation deliverables associated with each step of the computer system life cycle.
