Must Have: Minimum Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) required
  • Minimum of 5+ years of medical sales experience and business management experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of medical sales experience

Nice to Have

  • Master’s Degree (MA, MBA, MS) is highly desirable
  • Previous sales management experience strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of overall work experience
  • Extensive previous capital equipment and disposable products field experience 
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Executive sales and negotiating skills
  • Ability to coach and teach others
  • High computer proficiency required, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Able to quickly compile contracts with supporting financial business case
  • Recruiting and hiring experience
  • Leadership and Mentoring Abilities: Preferably in a complex business environment
  • Language Skills:  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as purchase agreements, financial reports, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. 
  • Ability to write reports, presentations, and business correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, internal and external stakeholders, and various other support teams
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Able to be a positive role model and demonstrate professionalism based on the Norms and Credos of the company
  • Demonstrate positive and constructive attitude that drives team cooperation in achieving company objective
  • Demonstrate characteristics of a transformational leader and showcase the ability to lead others through corporate and environmental change
  • Current knowledge and understanding of the hospital and health care environment both global and specific
  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills
