Treasury  is responsible for corporate financing strategies and execution, capital structure recommendations, tax and foreign currency considerations, treasury operations, investment programs for the Company's cash, trust and pension assets, and foreign currency and interest rate risk management.  Treasury serves as an advocate for the Company to debt and equity investors, commercial and investment banks, and rating agencies.

This position works within the combined Cash Management and Operations function which includes the activities of cash management, derivative operations, compliance and internal funding processes.  This team partners with all areas of treasury (international, foreign exchange, and capital markets), as well as Tax, Legal and Controllers on a variety of activities and initiatives.

A Day in the Life

 Flexible position with variety of responsibilities and interaction points across core cash management, internal funding (intercompany), and derivative operations.  The role is dynamic, highly connected and collaborative with other Treasury functions and team members. 

 

Related to derivative operations, core activities may include:

•             Perform counterparty risk and collateral processes related to derivative portfolio

•             Execute trade confirmation and direct single and multi-bank settlements

•             Support derivative regulatory compliance processes and assist in the development of controls related to the evolution of Dodd-Frank, EMIR, and other emerging

•             Participate in the ISDA/CSA execution and management, including on-going harmonization

•             Support systems and operational process harmonization for derivatives

•             General Administrative (Paper statements and notices, monitoring shared email boxes, filing, other)

 

Related to cash management and internal funding, core activities may include:

•             Assist or perform day-to-day cash forecasting, cash concentration oversight and recommendations related to excess cash

•             Generation and analysis of daily liquidity report including short and long term cash forecasting

•             Gather, analyze and present bank fee analysis

•             Review and support banking structures and day-to-day bank account management (signature card updates, service changes, etc.)

•             Unclaimed property administration

•             Liaise with Shared Service Center (AP, AR, Payroll) and Business Units related to cash liquidity matters

•             Support intercompany lending and cash concentration / mobilization

•             General Administrative (Paper statements and notices, monitoring shared email boxes, filing, other)

 

The position also will participate and support the continued development and maintenance of Treasury technology platforms, structures, and integrations, as well as implementation and ongoing infrastructure upgrades.  Finally, this position will perform ad-hoc analysis and projects within the team and across treasury and finance as needed.


Must Have:   Minimum Requirements
 
  • BS or BA degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or MBA
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
 
Nice to Have
 

•             Prior experience in, or exposure to, treasury operations including risk management and/or cash management desired

•             Experience with banking and/or operations in close proximity to Treasury in a corporate environment

•             Prior experience/exposure to SAP and/or Hyperion reporting desired

•             Strong communication and interpersonal skills

•             Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

•             Strong organizational skills, problem solving, and critical thinking

•             High degree of initiative, self-motivation, integrity and self-confidence
