A Day in the Life
An internal move has created an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Territory Manager to join our Cardiac Rhythm Disease Management portfolio based in Hobart or Launceston in Tasmania. Reporting to the Senior Regional Sales Manager, this role will see you use your high degree of commercial acumen and the ability to drive your own success, grow market share and achieve sales revenues.
- Promote, sell & educate on Medtronic’s Cardiac Rhythm management products & services across the assigned territory hospital network.
- Work with the team to achieve sales revenue targets by developing or strengthening relationships with clinical stakeholders and through effective sales & service strategies. Act as Medtronic’s primary liaison and be the preferred partner for patient care.
- Understand the clinical and service needs of customers and provide highest level of clinical service and technical support to customers while seeking out efficiency
- Ensure the highest level of clinical, technical and sales knowledge is attained and maintained. Achieve sales and territory management learning goals and ensure all education programs are completed to a high standard.
- Collaborate with other Clinical Territory Managers (CTM), Clinical Specialists (CS), and Business Development Managers (BDM) to assist in the execution on business plans
- Build an awareness and begin accessing key influencers, key hospital stakeholders and leverage relationships to execute on account strategies
- Support clinical study activities in conjunction with the Clinical Research Manager
- Monitor field inventory effectively to ensure appropriate levels of inventory in each location relative to demand
Must-Have:
- Bachelors Degree in nursing, general science, business or similar
- Significant experience in cardiac implantable device either in a sales or a clinical setting, account planning, territory management and forecasting
- Required to travel up to 50%, valid driver’s licence required
