JOB DUTIES:

The Sr. Supply Chain Program Manager is an active member of our Center of Excellence (COE) team within Medtronic’s Global Supply Management organization that is responsible for leading, managing and implementing cost and value driven programs across the Medtronic businesses.


 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a Master’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering and five (5) years of post-bachelor’s progressive experience in all of the following:

 

 

 

  •  

  • Program and Change Management

  •  

  • Lean principles including Kaizen, Lean Sigma, Six Sigma and DMAIC concepts utilizing applications to include MINITAB

  •  

  • Working with Oracle or SAP based ERP software packages to include purchasing, material management, production management, demand planning and PLM modules

  •  

  • Product line responsibilities as a Planner, Buyer or a Sourcing Manager

  •  

  • Collaborative and workflow technology platforms to include Microsoft Sharepoint or IBM Connections

  •  

  • Analyzing large sets of data from supply chain management systems using Excel, Access, or other database tools and converting into meaningful information

  •  

  • Product tear downs and VAVE’s and develop business cases for implementation of product change over

  •  

  • Developing total cost of ownership (TCO) and net present value (NPV) models and negotiation plans linkage to P&L and balance sheet.

  •                          

 

Travel Frequency: 25%travel required. Area: United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Asia. Scope: Visit current and prospective suppliers; meet internal stakeholders; understand and evaluate suppliers.
