• Ability to meet program deliverables and timing, and thrive in fast-paced environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Understanding of design controls, quality system regulations, and failure investigation process and methodologies.
• PC application skills: solid modeling such as SolidWorks and/or Pro Engineer, MS Project, EXCEL, Word.
• Good understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
• 15-years experience in product development with 5 years’ minimum in medical devices, class III preferred
• Must have demonstrated completion of development projects to commercialization
• Proficient in rotary pump design for implantable class III medical devices
• Understanding of international medical device standards
• Understanding of Risk Management Process
• Experience with desing charachterization, and validation and statistics
• Understanding of the application and manufacturing of mechanical structures and fluid dynamics related to pump systems
Environmental Factors /Work environment:
Work is performed inside a professional office environment/office building, with ambient temperature and under florescent lighting, with minimal noise levels. Incumbent routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, phone, filing cabinets and fax machines.
