Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree
•10+ years of working closely with community-focused programs, volunteer programs, grant making, and/or with under-served communities (8 years with Masters)
•Experience with project planning, budget management and results tracking
•Global experience, working in more than one country, or in a country other than the U.S.
•Experience with managing training programs of individuals/organizations in local/regional/global and virtual settings; event management
Preferred Qualifications:
•Master’s degree or advanced studies in Business, Public Health, Social Work, Public Policy Law, or Social Development
•Certification in teams Facilitation (i.e.ToP’s or similar)
•Familiarity with place-based approaches to grant making, partnership development
•Strong empathetic and diplomatic work style, facilitation and cross-cultural relationship management experience
•Experience managing external vendors and/or agencies
•Communications experience, ability to tell stories of impact to key stakeholder audiences
•Ability to think creatively to solve problems and identify realistic opportunities
•Experience with public speaking and presenting to small and large groups
•Ability to speak at least two languages (English required plus one or more of the following: Portuguese, Spanish, Hindi or French)
