Sr Electrical Reliability Engineer
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s in engineering, science or related field
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
· 4+ years with Bachelor’s
· 2+ years with Masters
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Reliability Engineering experience: demonstrated application of reliability engineering principles, tools, and practices
· Experience in medical devices or other highly regulated industry
· Exposure to or experience working in or with Design, Quality and Operations
· Knowledge of DFSS, DFLS or DRM, and robust design practices
· CRE, or equivalent certification
· Demonstrated success on multi-disciplinary product development teams. Experience in comprehensive product design and development
· Proven ability to operate in a matrix organization
· Demonstrated understanding of applicable standards and regulations, product requirements and associated testing
· Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, primary disease states and cardiac rhythm and heart failure management products
· Proven ability to extensively apply electrical engineering principles in the design of highly reliable, complex systems
· Demonstrated critical thinking skills with focus on improved system performance outcomes and positive business impact
· Excellent problem solving skills, including demonstrated application of structured problem solving methods and tools
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Strong collaboration and INFLUENCE skills
