REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma

JOB EXPERIENCE

  • Customer Service experience 

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES                                                                                                           

  • Knowledge of surgical and medical equipment and terminology
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions & procedures.
  • Knowledge of Sterile Processing equipment
  • Mathematical aptitude
  • Technical aptitude
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills (team work)
  • Displays initiative
  • Strong coordination ability
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks in a stressful environment
  • Sound computer skills
  • WHMIS training
  • Works well in a fast paced changing priority environment

 

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION

  • Bilingual: English/French (requirement in Québec)
  • Completed Sterile Supply Processing Technician course

JOB EXPERIENCE

  • Some experience in sterile supply processing.
  • Warehouse / distribution experience

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

  • Knowledge of JD Edwards and SAP

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Physically capable of some heavy lifting (50+ lbs.)
  • No Issues with VDT screens
  • Some travel requirements for training with Business Units
