Required:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, DVM from an accredited University.
Completed or able to complete within one year ACVP  Boards

Nice to Have:
At least 3 years of anatomical veterinary pathology in an Institution with a diverse case load across several animal species and a variety of diagnostic needs.
•Proficient in the whole pathology process.
•Advanced and highly effective in written English.
•High degree of self-motivation, independence, and time management skills.
•Eagerly sharing knowledge and humble display of diagnostic vulnerability.
•Professional verbal communication skills.
•Computer skills:  working knowledge of contemporary programs and apps.
•Knowledge about animal welfare in research.
•Knowledge in toxicologic or investigative pathology from a CRO, biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
•Scientific and technical expertise in digital pathology, immunohistochemistry, 
•Scientific writing skills as evidenced by publications.
•GLP or ISO experience.
•High level of visual skills aimed at comprehensive data compilation and presentation (photography).
•Interest in clinical pathology
Base knowledge in statistics and/or use of statistical Program Packages
•The Ability to work with variety of animal species: dogs, rabbits, ruminants, pigs, rodents.
•Ability to perform work requiring visual acuity, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
•Able to stand/bend over surgery table for moderate to long periods: 6 hours.
•Able to work with fresh and chemically preserved tissues.
•Able to tolerate exposure to bodily fluids.
•Able to wear safety goggles, gloves, hats, and gowns.
•Able to lift 50 pounds.
•Must be able to travel independently to local Medtronic buildings/sites.
