EDUCATION REQUIRED: 

• BS/BA degree in Information Systems Management or equivalent

 

 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 5+ years of working experience in planning, designing, deploying, managing and troubleshooting Microsoft Collaboration and Communications Technologies; Lync, Skype for Business and Exchange Server.
• Senior level experience in networking, Microsoft technologies, IP telephony and/or video conferencing technologies and standards


SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Core Infrastructure technologies and possess good understanding including but not limited to network concepts, TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, SMTP, DNS, DHCP, NPS, and Ethernet connections
• Experience in implementing integration gateways including Survivable Branch Appliance (SBA) and Microsoft applications
• Must possess a strong background in a highly technical architectural or engineer role in a large enterprise environment, including Skype for Business and Cisco Unified Communications enterprise system to be considered for this position.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of SIP, H.323, TCP/IP, POTS, PRIs/ISDN, and understanding of protocols (SIPv2, CSTA/SIP) and codecs (G.722, G.711, G.729, H.264 and Microsoft Real-time adaptive codec)

 

Environmental Factors /Work environment:
Work is performed inside a professional office environment/office building, with ambient temperature and under florescent lighting, with minimal noise levels. Incumbent routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, phone, filing cabinets and fax machines.
