As a Technical Services Specialist, you will be responsible to install, operate and maintain parts on various Medtronic medical equipment. You will perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems, and subsystems as well as software at customer and field locations.
To apply for this position, we would like you to be located in Romania. Travel within Romania 75%, occasional travel to surrounding countries.
A Day in the Life
· Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problems within SLA
· Analyse and evaluate products and their performance
· Install, upgrade and remove products ensuring coordinative engineering field change
· Maintain effective customer communications and relations
· Engage in onsite training of customer support personnel as required
· Provide technical advice to customers, sales personnel, and healthcare professionals on product-related queries
· Supply sales personnel with technical data when necessary
· Act as a liaison between sales personnel and customers on technical issues
· Navigate software-controlled systems
· Assist in technical support over the phone or via remote technology
Must-haves
· Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the same position
· Mechatronics knowledge, including Electro-Mechanical Systems, Control Electronics, Digital Control Systems, and similar
· Knowledge of large capital systems ideally within the medical environment and previous experience with servicing the ventilators will be an asset
· Fluent in spoken English and Romanian
· Willingness to work flexible hours.
