Senior Statistics Manager
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or Biostatistics
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the design and analysis of clinical studies with 5+ years of managerial experience with a bachelor’s degree;
- or minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and analysis of clinical studies with 3+ years of managerial experience with a master’s degree;
- or minimum of 3 years of experience in the design and analysis of clinical studies with 1+ years of managerial experience with a doctoral degree
- Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics.
- Specialized training and experience with adaptive designs, Bayesian hierarchical models, design of experiments, group sequential designs, pharmacoepidemiology, statistical de-identification, decision theory, or statistical sampling.
- Experience in medical device, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Experience developing and interacting with Data Safety Monitoring Boards, Adverse Events Committees, and Clinical Events Committees.
- Strong therapeutic area knowledge for stroke and aneurysms.
- Demonstration of excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience presenting clinical trial results and statistical methods.
- Excellent project management skills: can prioritize multiple tasks and goals to ensure timely, on-target, and within-budget delivery.
- High level of competency in Windows environment and with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
