Senior Software Project Engineer
MUST HAVE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION REQUIRED
· BS/BA in Engineering or Computer Science
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· 4+ years of software development experience with BS / BA
· 2+ years of software development experience with MS / MA
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
Software development experience, including planning, estimation, and requirements management
Experience with agile practices such as scrum and SAFe.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Proven leadership skills and mentoring capabilities
Ability to work in a team environment with a variety of personalities
Broad understanding and experience across the software discipline
NICE TO HAVE:
· Software development experience in the medical industry or other regulated industry
· Scripting language (Python, Perl, Shell) experience
· Unix/Linux experience
· Expert knowledge of software design including OOA/OOD and design pattern
· Expert developing GUI applications
· Experience building medium to large size C++ applications/libraries
· Expert knowledge of modern, iterative software design processes and development practices including Agile, SAFe and test-driven development
· Expertise in one or more of the following: STL, Qt, Boost, XML, XML schemas, OpenGL, Direct3D
