Must Have: Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience

Nice to have:

  • A bachelor's degree in in Computer Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent degree and 3-5 years of professional work experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in an object-oriented language like C++
  • Good understanding and experience in software design patterns, data structures and advanced programming techniques.
  • Experience with software tools (build, code coverage, static analysis, source control, automated test, etc.).
  • Experience developing software in a Linux environment
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills with ability to work effectively in a team or individually with supervision.
  • Experience with networking protocols such as DHCP/ DNS / NTP
  • Comfortable with common development tools:  environments, compilers, build management software, debugging and source control tools, etc.
  • Experience with distributed real-time software.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as python.
  • Experience developing software within the Medical Device industry.
  • Experience with one or more: TDD, Unit Test, continuous integration and delivery.
  • Experience with cryptography and Cybersecurity concepts
  • Experience with real-time communication protocols like DDS, EtherCAT
