Senior Software Engineer - Surgical Robotics
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Nice to have:
- A bachelor's degree in in Computer Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent degree and 3-5 years of professional work experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in an object-oriented language like C++
- Good understanding and experience in software design patterns, data structures and advanced programming techniques.
- Experience with software tools (build, code coverage, static analysis, source control, automated test, etc.).
- Experience developing software in a Linux environment
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills with ability to work effectively in a team or individually with supervision.
- Experience with networking protocols such as DHCP/ DNS / NTP
- Comfortable with common development tools: environments, compilers, build management software, debugging and source control tools, etc.
- Experience with distributed real-time software.
- Experience with scripting languages such as python.
- Experience developing software within the Medical Device industry.
- Experience with one or more: TDD, Unit Test, continuous integration and delivery.
- Experience with cryptography and Cybersecurity concepts
- Experience with real-time communication protocols like DDS, EtherCAT
