Required:
• BS degree in Engineering (Electrical, Biomedical, or Mechanical); MS preferred
• 4-7 years in medical device engineering or biomedical engineering
• Solid understanding of GLP, cGMP, and regulatory requirements as related to testing of mechanical circulatory support devices.
• A good working knowledge of MATLAB, Mintab, LabVIEW programming languages 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent analytical and statistical skills, with knowledge of advanced statistical techniques
• Ability handle multiple high priority projects at the same time
• Ability to design, build, and test electro-mechanical systems and software tools 
• Ability to articulate complex technical ideas/information clearly, effectively, and persuasively
• Ability to generate protocols, procedures, and engineering tests/reports
• Ability to travel internationally and domestically as necessary 
• Ability to plan, organize, and work independently in a cross functional team environment
• Ability to understand medical terminology related to congestive heart failure

Nice to Have:
• Proven record of strong technical skills and knowledge in analytical method development and troubleshooting of mechanical circulatory support devices and data.
• Proven record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment and effective communication in a cross functional team environment.
• Excellent customer service, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills related to mechanical circulatory support devices and data.
