Senior Research Analyst - Healthcare Economis & Outcomes Research
- Master’s degree in economics, statistics, or related field, with a minimum of 2 cumulative years of relevant economic/statistical outcomes research experience.
- Demonstrated experience in statistical and economic analysis and presentation of data
- Experience in analyzing large data files associated with health care claims and electronic medical records
- Experience working with a variety of information systems and data files, including large and complex files: analyzing file structure, using and creating file layouts, and transforming raw data into finished products.
- Familiarity with various types and sources of health care information, including financial and health claims data files are extremely desirable.
- Proficiency in SAS, SAS macros and SAS SQL. Knowledge in Linux operation system preferred.
- High-level proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- General knowledge of government and private payer reimbursement models both within the USA and globally is desired.
- Ability to influence others, resolve conflict, and creative problem solving skills across a large and disseminated, matrixed and virtual organization, with multiple locations across the USA and globally.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and business skills and a strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement systems across the globe are desirable.
