Senior R&D Engineer
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience

- You are an experienced professional in engineering development with extensive engineering knowledge and skills in some or all of the following: component and system design, materials (polymers and metals), sterilization of medical devices, test method development, design for six sigma principles or DRM, CAD (Solidworks preferred), pre-clinical evaluations, physician interactions, knowledge of anatomical use conditions (anatomy, physiology etc.), system requirements development, design control, application of ISO standards for medical devices
- You preferably have expert knowledge in processes associated with medical manufacturing such as shrinking (reflow), RF welding, laser bonding, laser welding, thermal bonding, adhesive bonding, braiding, coil winding, insert molding, hydrophilic coating, plasma treatment, cleaning processes, cutting/skiving/slitting, crimping, etc.
- Application of statistical and analytical methods such as SPC, SQC, and DOE
- Test protocol generation, execution, and reporting
- Reading and producing drawings
- Ability to effectively communicate and work cooperatively with others as a lead member of a team.
- Demonstrated experience sharing information, status, needs, and issues with others to inform, gain input, and support decision-making.
- Dynamic team player and can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.
- Preferably has prior experience in catheter design, development, and/or manufacturing
- Collaborate across organizational boundaries and take appropriate actions when problems occur
- High level of enthusiasm and motivation, and the ability to take input from others are desirable
- You are someone who loves how and why things work, and you bring this passion to work with you
