- MBA or equivalent Masters degree with an emphasis on supply chain management or advanced supply chain information systems.
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands.
- Strong analytical, data processing and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in process formulation, process improvement and project management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of financial and operational impacts.
- Building relationships with key internal and external customers based on trust and confidence.
- Data gathering and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs.
- Translating business goals and metrics into business process outcomes and related business cases for specific projects.
- Knowledge of finance, sales, marketing, regulatory, R&D and other supply chain functions.
- Ability to overcome ambiguity, imperfect data, and the limits of process definition to achieve exceptional and timely results.
- Experienced in utilizing outputs from Sales, Inventory and Operational Planning systems to improve supply chain planning and inventory management.
- Medical Device or other regulated industry experience.
- Experience with large global manufacturer/distributor operations in a matrix organization.
- Experience developing and implementing change initiatives requiring collaboration and influence management skills.
- Institute of Business Forecasting and/or APICS certification
- Super user knowledge of SAP APO and R3 and/or other planning systems
- Experience applying DMAIC or lean sigma methodologies
