Senior Scientist -Physicist - Jerusalem

Qualifications

Must Have: 

Education:

• Master's Degree or higher, in classical/ optical/ pneumatical physics / Mechanical/Materials engineering

Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience beyond degree, working as a physicist in industrial research environment with a solid scientific orientation

Must Have:

• Knowledge and experience in development of devices and materials

• Knowledge in gas and liquid dynamics
• Experience in designing and leading research programs and projects, with a proven track record of productive output and completed projects
• Data analysis using advanced analytic tools such as Minitab, Origin, LabView, Matlab, and others as required
• Strong aptitude for mathematics, calculus, and statistics
• Exceptional presentation and reporting skills
• Excellent English (both reading and writing), as all documents are written in English

Nice to have:

• Scientific background in practical physics, with experience working in a medical device organization – Advantage
• Knowledge of and experience in precise pneumatics – Major advantage
• Experience in development of medical products – Major advantage
• Knowledge of and experience in the field of heat transfer, thermal simulation and flow systems – Advantage
• Experience with 3D modeling, SolidWorks and related tools – Advantage
• Understanding of material engineering – Advantage
• Familiarity with Medical device standards (e.g., IEC60601)
• Familiarity with DFSS methodology – Advantage
