Senior Scientist -Physicist - Jerusalem
Qualifications
Must Have:
Education:
- Master's Degree or higher, in classical/ optical/ pneumatical physics / Mechanical/Materials engineering
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience beyond degree, working as a physicist in industrial research environment with a solid scientific orientation
Must Have:
- Knowledge and experience in development of devices and materials
- Knowledge in gas and liquid dynamics
- Experience in designing and leading research programs and projects, with a proven track record of productive output and completed projects
- Data analysis using advanced analytic tools such as Minitab, Origin, LabView, Matlab, and others as required
- Strong aptitude for mathematics, calculus, and statistics
- Exceptional presentation and reporting skills
- Excellent English (both reading and writing), as all documents are written in English
Nice to have:
- Scientific background in practical physics, with experience working in a medical device organization – Advantage
- Knowledge of and experience in precise pneumatics – Major advantage
- Experience in development of medical products – Major advantage
- Knowledge of and experience in the field of heat transfer, thermal simulation and flow systems – Advantage
- Experience with 3D modeling, SolidWorks and related tools – Advantage
- Understanding of material engineering – Advantage
- Familiarity with Medical device standards (e.g., IEC60601)
- Familiarity with DFSS methodology – Advantage
