MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 2+ years of relevant experience with an advanced degree
• Experience creating and maintaining Amazon Web Services (EC2/VPC) environments
• Linux (Ubuntu) network stack experience
• Experience with implementation of VPN server and client endpoints (IPsec preferred)
• Experience with the implementation of network services (DNS and LDAP at a minimum)
• Experience interfacing with software development, systems engineering, and test engineers
• Strong knowledge of network routing and VLAN configuration and administration
• Oral and written communication and collaboration skills
• Ability and willingness to travel with little notice
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
NICE TO HAVE
• Experience in a medical service-provider environment
• Current or previous experience in Hospital IT
• Understanding of HIPAA and GDPR, especially with respect to online services
• Experience in integrating heterogeneous network and VPN products
• Experience in Active Directory administration
• Experience dealing directly with business customers
• Understanding of IPSEC, SSL, LDAP, and DNS protocol suites
• Experience in automation of data center provisioning and administration
• Working knowledge of system administration on major development and deployment platforms: GNU/Linux, Windows, Mac OSX, Cloud
• Working knowledge of one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, C++
• Competent with scripting languages: Shell (Bash), Python, Perl
• Working knowledge of distributed version control systems, e.g. git
• Familiarity of infrastructure automation tools, e.g. Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Vagrant
• Working knowledge of Continuous Integration tools, e.g. Teamcity, Jenkins
