BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
• PhD or higher
• 3+ years of work experience communicating medical information to internal/external health sources (e.g sales force, outside health professions, public, and the federal government
• OR Masters degree and 3+ years Medtronic experience working in the field of Catheter Ablation technology
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Graduate degree (PhD preferred or equivalent) with specialization in cardiovascular sciences and/or doctoral degree in clinical sciences (MD, PharmD or equivalent)
• Combined clinical and research experience
• Documented experience and proficiency in clinical research (study design, data collection and analysis, manuscript development).
• Scientific knowledge and expertise in cardiovascular physiology and pathophysiology
• Basic understanding of cryo and RF technology, basic understanding of EP systems
• Experience in reviewing, interpreting and presenting scientific information outside area of expertise
• Knowledge of Atrial Fibrillation, cardiac anatomy, and physiology.
• Exhibit strong scientific presentation skills
• Experience in developing scientific relationships with physicians and institutions.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills
• Possess a positive attitude, superior interpersonal skills and comfort level interacting closely with key physicians and external scientists.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.
• The ability to make customers central to all thinking and recognize/meet the diversity of customers and their needs and consistently drive customer satisfaction is required.
• Must be self-directed and comfortable working independently (identifying and pursuing opportunities, prioritization, follow-through) under ongoing direction from manager.
