Reporting to the Service Delivery Benelux Lead, the Senior Material Management Analyst (Sr MMA) in OLV (Onze-Lieve-Vrouwziekenhuis) Aalst, Belgium is responsible for excellent delivery of the service in collaboration with the OLV Logistics team and feels comfortable in manage-by-influence situations.  Issues in execution that impact the expected savings according to the contract are reported and addressed in a timely manner. This person will be the IHS onsite first contact for all hospital stakeholders.

A Day in the Life

As a Senior Material Management Analyst, You will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring process compliance and providing functional instructions to hospital Logistic staff according to agreements with hospital leadership.
  • Running reports, monitoring activities, and tracking KPIs based on Ingenica data and onsite knowledge.
  • Identifying issues, managing events and alerts, analysing root causes, and resolving issues.
  • Preparing KPI and saving reports for management reviews and Operational Committee meetings.
  • Managing relations with and expectations of the hospital stakeholders, for example in weekly and monthly review meetings. 
  • Proposing and supporting recommendations for corrective actions or improvements based on data analyses.
  • Leading improvement initiatives to results, as part of continuous value creation for the client.
  • Providing training to hospital key user(s) on the IHS system (Ingenica) and supporting hospital Logistic staff in developing Supply Chain skills; identifying additional training needs.

Must Haves

  • Advanced standard of education (bachelor's degree or similar)
  • 5-7 years in a Cath Lab/OR/hospital working environment, or Supply Chain environment and general knowledge of healthcare/hospital practices and standards
  • Project management and/or Change management experience
  • Expert/Pro knowledge of Excel and MS Office suite; affinity with numbers
  • This post requires you to be on-site in the clinical area during weekdays. Weekend work only as an exception (e.g. for cycle counting)
  • Flexibility in working hours to adapt to clinical / surgery schedule
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English languages, both verbal and written
  • Traveling to other accounts in your designated work area or Europe may occur occasionally (less than 10% of the time)

Nice to Haves

  • Worked in an International multi-layered matrix organization
  • Works independently under limited supervision
  • Lean Sigma experience is a plus
