Senior Manager, Environmental Health and Safety
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing an EHS strategy and risk reporting
- Sound working knowledge of health and safety legislation in Australia and New Zealand
- Sound working knowledge of EHS / Risk Management legislation and principles
- Sound working knowledge of EEO and anti-discrimination legislation and principles
Good to Have
- Preferably Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Ergonomics, Safety Science, Safety Engineering with a minimum of 8 -12 years’ experience Workplace assessment and training qualifications desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organisation
- Customer focused
- Commercially savvy
- Self-motivated and positive
- Proven ability to influence without authority
- Change manager
- “Can Do” attitude
- Some domestic and overseas travel will be required
- Some out of hours work will be required
