Senior Legal Counsel Intellectual Property
Must Have:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering or Computer Science or Informatics or Physics or other similar scientific background required
- Qualified to act before a national Patent Office in the EMEA region (e.g., Israeli Patent Agent, German patent attorney, Dutch patent attorney, etc.) and preferably before the European Patent Office
- Minimum of 5 or more years of relevant experience in IP after passing the patent exam
Nice to have:
- Knowledge about protecting software and artificial intelligence related inventions
- Both in-house and law firm experience
- Excellent judgment, strong strategic and analytical thinking, and ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Excellent priority-setting skills and communications skills to deal with direct client contact and management
- Proficiency in engineering, strong creative abilities, and scientific principles
- Understanding of basic business concepts, strategies, and risks
- Broad IP experience, including patent prosecution, freedom-to-operate, opinion preparation, licensing, and IP transactions
- Medical device experience
- Litigation experience
- Possess a strong commitment to company values
