A Day in The Life Of:
Functional Knowledge
- Obtains an in-depth knowledge of business priorities, processes, and operational procedures within the HR organisation.
- Adopt mechanisms to understand how employees use our HR tools today, their priorities, processes, and procedures intimately.
- Maintain regular stakeholder connections, assess how their priorities relate to system needs, identify opportunities to simplify work & processes via technology.
- Bring a global perspective and evaluate impact of system changes to customer processes and procedure.
Technical Expertise
- Working in a multi-technology solution environment, develops SME knowledge of our HR technology landscape.
- Develop strong understanding of our HR technology landscape internally & externally, enterprise direction & IT’s priorities.
- Assess existing and upcoming functionality for assigned areas: partner with IT to conduct proof of concepts, assess impact, help align with functionals needs, socialize with users and make recommendations for HR adoption.
- Actively represent HR in internal & external forums to ensure HR voice is represented & identify opportunities to sync up & partner to synergize efforts.
- Where multiple solution options to meet a business need exist, asses, provide feedback to the technical team on behalf of the business & support recommendations.
Project Execution
- Support all aspects of system implementations & scaling utilising agile work practises.
- Support requirements gathering activities & activities related to follow-ups.
- Plan, facilitate, monitor, track, and executes system, data, and integration testing & UAT including defect management and retesting activities.
- Coordinate production release activities including development of functional checkout plans & other cutover preparations. Lead and participate in go live activities.
- Work with training & change management to ensure understanding of impacts & assist with developing change management strategies and material reviews.
- Input to risk analysis discussions & support mitigations.
- Organize requirements walkthroughs, ensure business review and approval takes place within project timelines.
- Plan for and support the transition of new functionality and features into normal support procedures, i.e.: operationalization of technology.
Business Continuity
- Provide day-to-day support, configure, or oversee maintenance tasks while taking into consideration data privacy, governance models, platform standards, technical & customer experience best practices.
- Support ongoing adoption and continuous improvements efforts.
- Coordinate system upgrades or updates.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members within the team and conduct knowledge transfer with operations support teams.
Documentation
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for HR systems, processes, and configurations.
- Functional / technical documentation and artifacts required to support requirements management, User guides, FAQs and training materials for both technical and non-technical audiences as needed.
Key Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant Human Resources experience, OR an advanced HR degree and 2+ years of relevant Human Resources experience
- Candidates must have written and verbal English Language proficiency.
- Requires knowledge of HR organization structure and process combined with advanced technical experience.
- Technical acumen and understanding of relational databases, SQL, APIs.
- Work exposure on global system implementations & working with platform technologies and in a multi-technology stack environment.
- Exposure supporting one of the following applications: Teneo or other AI chatbot / virtual assistant & live chat technology, ServiceNow.
- Practical knowledge of project management and agile project methodology.
- Strong facilitation, communication & listening skills including proven ability to steer teams toward a decision or alignment.
- Collaborative & experience working across global landscape, as part of a team and can also work using your own initiative, remotely or virtually.
