BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

GED/High School Degree

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
18+ years of IT experience with a GED/High School Graduate
14+years of IT experience with Associate Degree
10+ years of IT experience with a Bachelors Degree
8+ years of IT Experience with a Masters Degree

SPECIALIZED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE: 
Experience with security
Experience with architecture

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
Understanding of privacy & security (e.g. HIPAA) requirements
Knowledge of software and application design and/or architecture
High level knowledge surrounding software development methodologies
High quality organizational and leadership skills
Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
Experience with Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI)
Expertise with HL7, FHIR, and CCD/CCDA protocols
Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box)
Expertise in data storage that shows us you know when to use a file system, relational database, or NoSQL variant.
EMR / HIE Implementation or Integration
Experience with Hospital Integration Engines
Understanding of security, cloud, and IoT concepts
Experience with real-world healthcare data standards (ICD, HCPCS, LOINC, SNOMED, etc.)
Understanding of regulatory oversight of medical software
Experience with device generated data and associated device metadata
Experience with connected devices and software solutions
Experience with the Payer industry
