Senior Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4 years with Bachelor’s degree, 3 years with Master’s or other postgraduate degree
- Training and experience in health economics, health policy, epidemiology or health services research
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis with a focus on health economic and outcomes research
- Project management experience; demonstrated consultative mindset
- Experience in healthcare industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, insurance, hospital, health system)
- PhD, MPH or MHA
- Postgraduate training in health economics, health policy, health services research, healthcare administration or similar
- Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in health insurance or health care delivery industry
- Experience in strategic reimbursement planning globally
- Experience in cardiovascular disease
- Experience in tachycardia or infection disease areas
- Proven excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
- Proven relationship-building and maintaining skills with internal and external stakeholders including physician customers, hospital administrators or payers
- Proven ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization
- Broad perspective and understanding of business issues related to medical devices and/or pharmaceuticals
- High productivity level as evidenced by ability to effectively prioritize
- Strong track record of good judgment
- Advanced programming skills (SAS, SPSS, R, etc.)
