Senior Electronics Engineer - Digital Surgery / Surgical Robotics
- Expertise with proven commercial experience from simple to complex multi-layer high-speed PCBs for various analog and digital systems including board layout, design, assembly and debug experience.
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, assembly and fabrication drawings.
- Experience in debugging/reworking electronic assemblies, battery/power management, and associated test fixtures.
- Experience in defining electrical architectures and interfaces driven by test and simulation analysis and results.
- Experience in various digital bus architectures and interfaces such as I2C, USB, I2S, UART, SPI, MIPI-CSI/DSI, and LVDS signals.
- Proven experience with EMI/EMC compliance challenges, design for reliability, and design for manufacturing.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Experience in working in a fast-paced R&D environment
Nice to Have
- Experience in medical devices or other regulated business.
- Experience in hardware product development with an organisation developing consumer electronics, IoT devices etc.
- Experience with Altium Designer
- Good soldering skills, ideally 0402, QFN and similar packages.
- Experience with the integration of camera sensors and optics in consumer products.
- Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and applicable Quality System Standards, such as ISO 13485, 14971, IEC 60601 and their relevant FDA equivalents.
