Senior Consultant, Provider Solutions - US Surgical Innovations

- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years hospital operations or clinic management experience with a Bachelor's degree, OR advanced degree with at least 5+ years'.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field
- MHA in Health Administration or MBA with focus in healthcare
- Clinical experience/RN preferred
- Prefer a minimum of 2 years Big 4 healthcare consulting experience (Deloitte, McKinsey) in Operations Excellence or Strategy & Development.
- Proven track record of success in planning, building, and optimizing hospital service-lines.
- Must know how to navigate hospital structures: operations, marketing, finance, quality, inpatient and outpatient departments, registration, IT, and provider relationships.
- Key element is leadership, influence, execution and flexibility and ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Superior communication and delivery skills with internal stakeholders (Commercial Sales, Marketing, Business Strategy) as well as external stakeholders (Surgeons, Administrators, inpatient and outpatient health system staff, etc.).
- Independent thinker with superior organizational, time management, and execution skills in managing multiple engagements that require remote and onsite travel flexibility.
- Proven experience in leading customer engagements that comprise: developing the strategy and deliverables to meet contract objectives.
- Ability to work independently, guided only by very broad company policies and objectives and make final decisions on issues affecting major segments or functional activities of the organization.
- Knowledge of the revenue mechanisms for various areas of care (inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory surgery centers, etc.)
- Working knowledge of managed care contracting, provider network development, and performance metrics associated with VBHC.
- Proven Project management experience, or knowledge of change management concepts.
- Ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, concise, and timely manner. Excellent written and oral communication skills (e-mails, memos, and PowerPoint presentations), as well as the ability to ensure content accuracy, appropriate tone, and attention to detail to ensure work is of superior quality.
- High level of emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and business acumen.
