We offer you an exciting opportunity to join our Global Imaging Services Team as a Senior Clinical Analyst. This team is part of our Structural Heart division and supports transcatheter therapies for congenital, imaging training and education needs, as well as patient selection in both commercial and trial settings.
Your role would be to review CT scans performing a variety of measurements to outline anatomical suitability for our Harmony device. In order to perform patient screening analysis, a 3D CT reconstructive software is used to perform a variety of measurements and capture images to create a comprehensive report for customers. Given the unique nature of this job, you will be given the tools you need through a robust imaging training program.
You will work closely with your trainer and other Clinical Analyst on the congenital team who will educate you in a stepwise manner so that all aspects of sizing and pre-case planning are thoroughly learned and mastered. The team supports a variety of geographies across several time zones.
A Day in the Life
We are looking for an individual with a passion for patient safety and quality in data analysis. This position supports our Harmony field sales/clinical team to ensure detailed screening analysis of potential candidates who seek implantation of our congenital transcatheter pulmonic valve device. Patient screening includes the review, analysis, and measurements of a cardiac multi-slice CT scan. The ideal candidate would have a background in imaging in either echocardiography or cardiac CT with a strong knowledge in congenital heart disease.
Candidates must have strong written and verbal English language skills in order to communicate effectively with field reps as well as customers. To be successful in this role, you should be a team player who is self-motivated, result-oriented and focused on quality.
Other responsibilities include involvement in the training and education of the field staff to ensure they are well versed in our patient selection and sizing methods along with customer training and education. Additional roles and responsibilities are assigned based on team needs. Good organizational skills are a must due to the detailed nature of the role.
Must Haves
• Minimum of 4 years of imaging experience with a background in cardiac CT or Echocardiography
• Good clinical knowledge of cardiac anatomy and congenital disease states
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel
• Credentialing through appropriate European societies for CT or Echo
Nice to Haves
• Working knowledge of CT 3D imaging software such as 3Mensio, Circle, Tera Recon, Vital, Q-Lab
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excell, and familiarity with Outlook
• Experience with adult learning/training and education, and strong presentation skills
