- Master’s Degree in biostatistics, computer science, mathematics, or related analytic field.
- A minimum of 3 year of relevant research experience is required.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, communication, and business skills and a general understanding of healthcare reimbursement systems across the globe is desirable.
- A high degree of competence in SAS and the Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Familiarity with Health Information Exchange and HL7 standards and be capable to extracting/transferring EHR data from multiple EHR system (e.g., EPIC, Cerner)
- Experience working with a variety of database systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle, Hadoop) and data files. Large and complex files includes: analyzing file structure, using and creating file layouts, and transforming raw data into finished products.
- Ability to write clear and concise technical summaries and system documentation.
- Ability to influence others, resolve conflict, and creative problem solving skills across a large and disseminated, matrixed and virtual organization, with multiple locations across the USA and globally.
Nice To Have
- Knowledge of R, Python, Tableau or Spotfire, and the Linux/UNIX operation system desired.
- Expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's is also a plus.
