Regional Reimbursement Economic Consultant - Texas Delta
Must Have; Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience working in health economics, healthcare consulting, account management, or finance or minimum 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- Reside in Texas / Delta area of US – relevant airport vicinities include DFW, HOU, AUS, SAT
- No relocation assistance will be provided
Nice To Have
- Master’s degree (MBA or MHA preferred) or advanced degree in health policy, health services research, economics, biostatistics, epidemiology, public administration, clinical research or a related discipline
- Highly knowledgeable of cardiovascular therapies, particularly coronary, structural heart and peripheral vascular
- Experience working in medical device industry, hospital administration, managed care or related health care field.
- Highly knowledgeable of Medicare and US commercial payers
- Highly knowledgeable of provider economics
- Skilled and engaging presenter, including executive-level audiences
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
- Highly knowledgeable of HCPCS/CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Understanding of and experience with health economic methods, including cost-effectiveness analyses
