  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from a four year college or university 
  • Minimum of 5 years of documented success in medical sales is required. Previous management experience is preferred. Prior experience in market development is a plus.
  • 3+ years in complex team selling environment
  • Documented track record of exceeding assigned quota in hospital medical environment
  • Previous experience with both capital and consumable product categories in hospital environment. Experience with cardiac and venous solutions or nutritional access and skin product categories are preferred.
  • Ideal candidate will live within the territory
 
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
 
  • Master’s Degree (MA, MBA, MS) is highly desirable
  • Previous sales management experience strongly preferred
  • Able to quickly assimilate contracts and develop supporting financial business case
  • Proven track record of recruiting, hiring, mentoring and developing talent
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex, matrixed, geographically-distributed environment with multiple value streams
  • Proven track record of selling to and influencing “C”  level and executive level stakeholders as well as complex customers
  • Proven ability to create and deliver high-level presentations and business correspondence. 
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Demonstrated positive and constructive attitude that drives team cooperation in achieving company objectives
  • Strong background and understanding of healthcare reform, competitive landscape and related implications for hospital customers
  • Ability to influence and drive cross-functional teams with or without direct authority
  • Demonstrated characteristics of a transformational leader who can lead others through corporate and environmental change and difficult circumstances
  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills
  • Strong computer proficiency required, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
