- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from a four year college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of documented success in medical sales is required. Previous management experience is preferred. Prior experience in market development is a plus.
- 3+ years in complex team selling environment
- Documented track record of exceeding assigned quota in hospital medical environment
- Previous experience with both capital and consumable product categories in hospital environment. Experience with cardiac and venous solutions or nutritional access and skin product categories are preferred.
- Ideal candidate will live within the territory

Master’s Degree (MA, MBA, MS) is highly desirable
- Previous sales management experience strongly preferred
- Able to quickly assimilate contracts and develop supporting financial business case
- Proven track record of recruiting, hiring, mentoring and developing talent
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex, matrixed, geographically-distributed environment with multiple value streams
- Proven track record of selling to and influencing “C” level and executive level stakeholders as well as complex customers
- Proven ability to create and deliver high-level presentations and business correspondence.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Demonstrated positive and constructive attitude that drives team cooperation in achieving company objectives
- Strong background and understanding of healthcare reform, competitive landscape and related implications for hospital customers
- Ability to influence and drive cross-functional teams with or without direct authority
- Demonstrated characteristics of a transformational leader who can lead others through corporate and environmental change and difficult circumstances
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills
- Strong computer proficiency required, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
