R&D Engineer - Structural Heart
Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Mechanical or related Engineering and 1 (one) year experience in a medical device R&D engineering. Must possess six months with the following: Product development and design in class II and class III products navigating ISO 13485; design and development of implantable balloon-expandable metallic scaffolds, i.e. stents, frames, etc.; providing technical support for medical devices to clients; generating mechanical designs using Solidworks and prototyping new concepts for mechanical testing and evaluation; developing anatomical 3D models derived from CT images; characterizing and processing cobalt based alloys; creating experiments to understand multi-factorial surface response correlations; and compiling computer-aided manufacturing programs
