Principal Strategic Sourcing Specialist
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of Manufacturing/Operations/Supply Chain/Sourcing and/or Commodity Management and/or Engineering experience or Master’s Degree and 3 years of Manufacturing/Operations/Supply Chain/Sourcing and/or Commodity Management and/or Engineering experience.
• Mass
ter’s Degree and/or Supply Chain Degree.
• 3 years of direct Sourcing/Commodity Management experience managing at least $200M in annual spend across key CM/OEM commodities with a focus in the Medical Device industry.
• Demonstrated strategic sourcing skills in a complex multiple supplier, multiple tiers, multiple business, multiple location global environment.
• Experience in forming and maintaining strategic alliances.
• Proven strength in commodity risk mitigation & strategy development and deployment.
• Has technical knowledge and ability to comprehend complex items related to customer, category and equipment specifications, contract terms and conditions, statements of work, engineering drawings and material specifications.
Experience in high-volume and/or high-quality manufacturing.
• Previous experience in a medical device / life sciences industry.
• Knowledge of FDA regulated industries.
• Demonstrated negotiation experience working with supplier
