Principal Software Quality Engineer
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Science field with 7+ years of work experience in Engineering, Software Engineering and/or Software Quality OR Masters Degree in Engineering or Science field with 5+ years of work experience in Engineering, Software Engineering and/or Software Quality.
Nice to Have
- 5+ years of work experience in Software Quality Engineering, SW/FW Engineering in medical device industry.
- Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science strongly preferred.
- Design, development and testing experience.
- Functional knowledge and expertise in product development, software development, software lifecycle processes, regulatory requirements, international standards and risk management.
- Working knowledge of applicable industry standards.
- Experience in software reliability – reliability prediction and reliability growth.
- Experience in medical device cybersecurity and its implementation.
- Experience with LabView program development and validation for use in automated test systems (ATE).
- Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts.
- Ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, and practicable, and consistent with organizational objectives.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks/projects and manage priorities accordingly.
- Team lead and/or project management experience preferred.
- Abilty to work in a team environment and exert influence without alienating others.
- Experience and working knowledge of statistical analysis methods/software preferred.
- Experience in the application of statistical methods.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- General knowledge of other related disciplines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
