Principal Scientist - Lithium Metal Ion
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of experience in an industrial setting or an MS/PhD and at least two years of relevant experience
Expertise in electrochemistry, lithium metal and lithium ion batteries, knowledge of lithium metal, lithium ion battery materials, materials characterization techniques, proficient in advanced battery test methods, data acquisition and data handling methods
Masters’s or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
Hands on experience in building and testing battery prototypes with novel electrode materials and electrolytes, experienced in working in a dry rom, experience in working with battery test systems and potentiostats
Statistical analysis using JMP or Minitab, optimization methods, Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Green Belt certification
Experience with Python, R or MATLAB to process, visualize, analyze and model experimental data
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Project management experience or similar leadership experience
